The Filipino Social Club – Dubai is excited to announce a new segment for the upcoming 126th Philippine Independence Day celebration on June 8, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will feature “The Munting Ginoo at Munting Binibini, Barong at Filipiniana Fashion Show,” showcasing traditional Filipino attire in a modernized and fashionable manner.
This new segment is open to Filipino children aged 7-12 years in the UAE, allowing them to participate and celebrate their cultural heritage. Participants will don their own Barong and Filipiniana outfits, presenting a blend of tradition and contemporary style. This initiative aims to preserve and promote Filipino fashion heritage among the youth, encouraging them to embrace and celebrate their cultural identity.
