The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) – Dubai and Northern Emirates have released advisory notices regarding changes to their service hours during the holy month of Ramadan in 2024.
According to the advisories, the service hours for both the Consulate General and the MWO will be adjusted for the duration of Ramadan, which begins on 11 March 2024. From Monday to Thursday, services will be available from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with a cut-off for entry at 11:00 AM. On Fridays, services will be offered from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, also with an entry cut-off time at 11:00 AM.
The public is reminded to avoid queuing or lining up in the early hours and to ensure they arrive within the prescribed timing with qualifying service requirements to be accommodated. The service hours will apply to various consular services including Contract Verification, OWWA Membership/Renewal, SSS Membership, Pag-ibig Membership, Job Order Accreditation, and Case Management.
Both entities have stated that regular office hours will resume after Eid Al Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan.
