Former Pinoy Big Brother housemates Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra are stepping into a new spotlight as they headline the upcoming digital series Ghosting, a supernatural romance that blends heartbreak with the paranormal.
The official trailer, unveiled on July 10, introduces Smith as Jaja, a heartbroken young woman hoping to reconnect with someone who has “ghosted” her. But in an unexpected twist, her attempt to summon lost love through a spiritual ritual leads her to Wilberto, played by Ibarra — a literal ghost with unresolved matters of his own.
“He has completely ghosted me, bestie,” cries Jaja in a scene that sets the tone for a mysterious yet charming story. What follows is an unexpected bond between the living and the departed, with Jaja and Wilberto agreeing to help each other find closure — and perhaps love — along the way.
Directed by Theodore Boborol, the series also features PBB alumni Vivoree and Kobie Brown, along with Gello Marquez, Zach Guerrero, Peewee O’Hara, and Ces Quesada. The show’s theme song, Tayo Hanggang Dulo, is performed by Smith and Ibarra themselves.
According to ABS-CBN, the trailer has already garnered over 12 million views across social media platforms, signaling strong anticipation from fans eager to see this genre-bending romance unfold.
