Paskong Pinoy 2024, organized by the Filipino Social Club-Dubai, is taking place today, December 15, 2024, at the Pakistan Association grounds in Oud Metha, from 2 PM to 10 PM. Among the exciting activities, the event is offering free basic medical check-ups for Filipinos, a gesture aimed at supporting the health and well-being of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
The medical services include general health assessments conducted by volunteer healthcare professionals, providing a much-needed opportunity for attendees to prioritize their health during the busy holiday season.
Aside from the free check-ups, Paskong Pinoy 2024 features a variety of activities celebrating Filipino Christmas traditions, including parol-making contests, karaoke challenges, Pinoy parlor games, and a Christmas bazaar. With an expected turnout of thousands of OFWs and their families, the event serves as a unifying celebration of community, culture, and generosity.
The festivities will start earlier today with basketball and football tournaments, building excitement for the program’s main highlights. Attendees can also look forward to surprise giveaways and aginaldo (gifts) for children and seniors, ensuring a festive and meaningful experience for everyone.
