Thirteen massage therapists fell victim to a violent robbery in Pasay City before dawn Friday, with two of them also raped by the assailants, police confirmed.
In a Dobol B TV report, authorities said the incident happened around 12:55 a.m. when two armed men on a white motorcycle barged into the establishment and declared a holdup. The suspects carted away the belongings of 13 therapists and assaulted two women during the attack.
Investigators from the Special District Forensics Unit immediately responded to the crime scene, recovering evidence for examination. Pasay police also deployed tracker teams to review CCTV footage and trace the escape route of the suspects.
According to authorities, the victims were able to positively identify one of the suspects through the police’s electronic rogue gallery. The man was identified as “Ashley,” a 23-year-old resident of Pasay City.
