UAE residents are in for a varied weather experience on Monday, with the forecast predicting partly cloudy and hazy skies across the country, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). Along with these conditions, some regions are also set to experience rainfall.
The NCM forecasts that while the majority of the country will enjoy sunny skies, a few areas will see partly cloudy weather. Moreover, the NCM anticipates rain-bearing cloud formations moving towards the west by the afternoon, bringing with them a welcome change.
Residents with dust allergies should take caution when venturing outdoors, as light to moderate winds, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/hr, are expected to cause blowing dust and sand. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the country will range between 42-45°C and 22-28°C, respectively.
Coastal areas will experience temperature highs of 38-43°C, while the mountainous regions will see cooler temperatures, ranging between 30-36°C. Humidity levels are predicted to be high, reaching 20-80 per cent in the mountain areas and 70-90 per cent in the coastal regions.
The NCM has also forecasted an increase in relative humidity by night and Tuesday morning, leading to potential fog and mist formation over some internal and coastal areas. For those heading to the seas, expect slight to moderate conditions in the Arabian Gulf and slight sea state in the Oman Sea.
