Malacañang on Tuesday denied circulating rumors that Finance Secretary Ralph Recto had stepped down from his post.
In a Viber message to reporters, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro clarified that there was no truth to the speculation. “Not true,” Castro said when asked to confirm reports claiming Recto’s resignation from the Department of Finance.
Recto has not issued any statement addressing the matter.
