Pakistani man sentenced in Dubai for assault causing permanent disability to Indian man

A 70-year-old Pakistani man has been sentenced to three months in jail and will be deported after serving his sentence for injuring a 34-year-old Indian man during a parking dispute in Dubai.

The incident occurred on February 8 last year in the Tecom area, when an argument over a parking space outside a residential building turned physical. The Pakistani man reportedly pushed the Indian man to the ground, causing serious injuries.

Medical reports confirmed the Indian man suffered a fractured tibia in his left leg, leading to nerve damage, muscle atrophy, and a permanent disability affecting 50% of the leg’s function.

The Indian man retaliated by striking the Pakistani man on the head, causing injuries that left him temporarily unable to perform daily tasks.

Dubai Criminal Court convicted the Pakistani man of assault and causing permanent disability. His actions were supported by forensic evidence and witness accounts. Meanwhile, the Indian man’s case has been referred to the Misdemeanour Court for further proceedings.
