Manny Pacquiao isn’t done yet.
After his spirited return to the boxing ring against Mario “El Azteca” Barrios in Las Vegas last July, the Filipino legend revealed he is eyeing another fight before the year ends—possibly in December.
Fresh from a short break in Italy, the 46-year-old Pacquiao confirmed the plan in an interview with veteran sports journalist Dyan Castillejo. When asked if fans can expect another match this year, the boxing icon replied, “This year… in December.”
The clip, posted on X by Castillejo and shared by Viva Promotions, has reignited excitement among fans who saw glimpses of Pacquiao’s vintage form during his comeback.
His July 19 bout at MGM Grand ended in a majority draw after 12 action-packed rounds. Though the decision divided viewers, many praised Pacquiao’s performance—his speed, footwork, and relentless pressure surprised critics and thrilled longtime supporters. Despite being tagged “that old man” by his younger opponent before the fight, Pacquiao proved age had not dulled his edge.
In another video from his recent interview, Pacquiao appeared in peak condition, fueling further speculation about his next move. While no opponent or venue has been confirmed, the December timeline hints at one more high-profile bout.
