Manny Pacquiao and Rukiya Anpo faced off in a three-round boxing exhibition match this Sunday at Saitama Super Arena in Japan.
Throughout the bout, 45-year-old Pacquiao attempted to connect with his signature left straight, but Anpo managed to land some clean shots of his own. As the fight was an exhibition, no winner was declared unless the bout ended in a stoppage.
“I hope this is not the last,” Pacquiao commented post-fight. “Anpo is strong and fights well even though he does not have a lot of boxing experience. He did his best to give a good fight.”
Pacquiao’s professional record remains at 62 wins, 8 losses, and 2 draws, with 39 knockouts.
