Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) can now stretch their travel budget further as the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and Philippine Airlines (PAL) rolled out a new set of exclusive perks for active members.
Starting September 29 until December 31, 2025, OWWA eCard holders are entitled to discounted rates on PAL’s domestic flights. The promotion grants 10% off the base fare for Economy Value tickets and 5% off for Economy Saver tickets.
To claim the discount, members simply need to present their OWWA eCard—either physical or digital—when purchasing tickets at any PAL ticket office or authorized travel agency. The promo applies to all domestic tickets bought within the covered period and may be used for travel beginning September 29, 2025.
The initiative forms part of OWWA’s broader welfare programs designed to provide tangible support to OFWs and their families. The agency has long extended benefits ranging from death and disability assistance, medical support through MEDplus, education scholarships, repatriation services, and livelihood programs such as Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay, to name a few.
OWWA reminded members that their membership is valid for two years and must be renewed regularly through the OWWA mobile app, regional offices in the Philippines, or Migrant Workers Offices (MWOs) abroad to continue enjoying benefits and exclusive privileges.
