The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has opened new job opportunities for accountants at its Central Office, offering monthly salaries of up to ₱45,694 as part of its ongoing recruitment drive.
Based on the agency’s latest vacancy announcement, OWWA is hiring one Accountant II and one Accountant I for its Accounting Division. The Accountant II position carries a Salary Grade 16, with a monthly compensation of ₱45,694, while the Accountant I post is classified under Salary Grade 12, with a monthly salary of ₱33,947.
For the Accountant II role, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration, with a major in Accounting or BS Accountancy. The position requires at least one year of relevant work experience, a minimum of four hours of relevant training, and eligibility under RA 1080, which refers to Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure.
Meanwhile, the Accountant I position is open to entry-level applicants, as it does not require prior work experience or training. However, candidates must also possess a degree in Accounting or Accountancy and be a CPA, in line with the same RA 1080 eligibility requirement.
All successful applicants will be assigned to OWWA’s Central Office – Accounting Division, where they will support the agency’s financial operations and reporting functions.
Interested and qualified applicants are required to submit the following documents: an application letter, Personal Data Sheet, Work Experience Sheet, latest Performance Rating, and appropriate license or board rating.
