Dubai’s highly anticipated Squid Game-inspired competition, The Game II, is happening tomorrow, February 1, 2025, at Al Ghurair Centre. With a grand prize of AED 5,000 up for grabs, participants must prepare for six intense rounds of unique challenges.
Who can join?
The competition is open to legal UAE residents aged 16 and above. However, only 400 players will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registered participants must arrive early to secure their spot, as registration alone does not guarantee participation.
Important rules to remember:
- Pre-registered participants have their spots reserved until 5:30 PM—after that, unclaimed slots will be given to others.
- General registration opens at 4:00 PM for walk-ins.
- The game officially runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Employees of Al Ghurair Centre and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Late arrivals will not be accommodated.
How does the game work?
The competition consists of six rounds, where players will be eliminated after each challenge based on their performance. The last contestant standing after completing all challenges will be declared the winner and take home AED 5,000 in cash.

- The competition is designed as a fun, immersive experience and is not an exact replica of the Netflix series.
- All participants agree to have their name, image, and game footage used for marketing purposes.
- Cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, or failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification.
- Al Ghurair Centre reserves the right to change, modify, suspend, or cancel the game at any time.
- The game will be governed by UAE laws and subject to Dubai Courts.
