The popular video chat platform Omegle has ceased operations. The platform, known for randomly pairing users in video chats, was shut down by its founder, Leif K-Brooks.
Citing significant challenges, including the stress and financial strain of managing misuse and persistent cyber-attacks, K-Brooks announced that keeping Omegle running is no longer viable.
“Operating Omegle is no longer sustainable, financially nor psychologically,” said K-Brooks in a statement.
