Showbiz insider Ogie Diaz recently confirmed on an episode of “Showbiz Updates” that “Can’t Buy Me Love” star Albie Casiño has become a father. According to Diaz, Casiño traveled to the United States to be with his newborn son.
“Tumulak na papuntang US ang young actor para makita, mahawakan, at makarga ang kanyang unang anak. Ang kaniyang baby boy kasi, ang kanyang jowa na isang foreigner ay nanganak noong April 30,” Diaz shared. He added, “After ng kanyang palabas, tumulak na siyang US para maramdaman niya ang pagiging Tatay niya. First time niyang makikita ang kanyang anak.”
Initially, Diaz did not reveal the identity of the young actor he was referring to, leading to speculation among his co-hosts, Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh. However, Diaz eventually confirmed that it was indeed Albie Casiño.
“Si Albie Casiño […] Proud siya, a! Sabi niya kasi sa’kin: ‘Hintayin mo muna akong makaalis, Tito Ogie.’ Nakita ko, napakagwapo. Hawig din kay Albie. Sobrang tuwang-tuwa si Albie, hindi niya ma-contain ang kanyang nararamdamang saya. Congratulations, Albie,” Diaz commented.
As of the writing of this article, Albie Casiño has not yet made a public statement to confirm or deny the news.
Casiño was previously embroiled in a controversy in 2011 when then 20-year-old actress Andi Eigenmann was reported to be pregnant. He was suspected to be the father of Eigenmann’s child but it was later revealed by actor Jake Ejercito that he was the biological father.
