Veteran singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid couldn’t hide his happiness as he shared the news of his daughter Sarah’s recent graduation with a nursing degree. Ogie proudly posted a photo from her commencement ceremony in Australia on his Instagram on Friday, June 7.
“Anak, I am so proud of you! Sarah Alcasid now has a bachelor of nursing degree! Hallelujah!” he exclaimed in his post.
Hinting at a family reunion, Ogie added, “So excited to see you and the fambam in a few days! Love you!”
The graduation ceremony was also attended by Sarah’s older sister, Leila Alcasid, and their mother, former beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren. Both shared their congratulatory messages on Instagram.
“Happy grad, baby sister. Love you,” Leila wrote.
Michelle van Eimeren expressed her pride and support, saying, “Congratulations, my darling Sarah on graduating today with a Bachelor of Nursing. We are so very proud of your hard work and dedication over the last three years. We are here to support and love you as you embark on this wonderful journey of nurturing and assisting people through challenging times. We love you, Sarah.”
Aside from Sarah and Leila, Ogie has a son named Nate with his wife, actress-singer Regine Velasquez.
