A number of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) returning to the Philippines from Israel have reported missing items from their luggage upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
According to a GMA News report, the missing items ranged from shoes and chocolates to keys. One OFW even reported her entire luggage missing.
These OFWs traveled via a route that took them from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi, before finally reaching Manila.
In response to these complaints, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has stepped in, offering assistance to the affected OFWs in filing complaints against the airline responsible.
This news comes amidst the repatriation of approximately 123 Filipinos from Israel as of November 1, due to the ongoing conflict with Hamas.
