OFWs in Dubai can now claim driver’s licenses processed in January caravan

Filipino workers who renewed their Philippine driver’s licenses during the January government outreach in Dubai may now collect their physical cards from the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in the emirate.

The licenses were processed by the Land Transportation Office during the third leg of the “Bagong Bayani ng Mundo: OFW Serbisyo Caravan,” conducted on January 10 and 11, 2026 at the Grand Ballroom of Conrad Hotel Dubai. The two-day initiative brought together several Philippine agencies to deliver frontline services to Overseas Filipino Workers in the UAE.

MWO Dubai announced that successful applicants can personally retrieve their licenses at its office. Those unable to appear in person may designate a representative, provided a written authorization letter is presented along with a copy of the representative’s identification and a copy of the applicant’s passport or Emirates ID. These documents must be shown to security personnel upon entry to the premises.

Claimants are instructed to proceed to Counter 3, Room 12 of MWO Dubai during regular office hours or Ramadan timings for the release of their cards.

The list of successful applicants for both days of the LTO services is available through PDF files posted on the MWO Dubai website, covering January 10 (Day 1) and January 11 (Day 2) transactions.
