The Union Day Organising Committee has unveiled the official song for the UAE’s 53rd National Day, titled “Badou Baniina Ummah” (Bedouins Built a Nation). The song will take center stage during the official show broadcast live on December 2, WAM reported.
The poem reflects a deep love for the UAE and pride in its national identity, paying homage to the leadership that has guided the nation to remarkable achievements. It underscores the ambition of future generations who uphold traditions while embracing progress through knowledge and innovation.
Combining Bedouin authenticity with modern aspirations, the song mirrors the UAE’s journey as a beacon of accomplishment and heritage, likened to the Pleiades star that guided ancestors and symbolizes the nation’s enduring vision.
Written by poet Ali Al-Khawar, composed by Mohammed Al-Ahmad, and performed by the Emirates Choir, the song is now available for streaming on Spotify, Anghami, YouTube, and Apple Music.
