Philippine air carriers have clarified that no terminal reassignments have been made at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), despite the announcement from the new operator, New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC), about potential future changes.
Cebu Pacific confirmed that its 5J domestic and international flights are still operating from NAIA Terminal 3, while its CebGo DG flights continue at Terminal 4. AirAsia Philippines stated that it remains at Terminal 3 for international flights and Terminal 2 for domestic flights.
Both airlines expressed support for NNIC, which took over as the new operator starting September 14, 2024, but emphasized the need for consultation before any terminal shifts are finalized.
NNIC General Manager Lito Alvarez noted that while terminal reassignments are in the works, no official timeline has been set. Currently, terminal operations remain unchanged, and passengers are encouraged to confirm their terminal assignments with their respective airlines.
