The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi is close to sealing a partnership with EMX, the express delivery arm of Emirates Post, in a move that could significantly streamline the delivery of consular documents for Filipinos across the United Arab Emirates.
The announcement was made by Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Alfonso A. Ver, during the celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 2025. The event, held at the Embassy grounds, was also attended by EMX Senior Commercial Director Mr. Ali Moosa.
“I welcome the proposed partnership with EMX in line with the efforts of the Embassy to improve the customer experience,” said Ambassador Ver. He added, “This partnership underscores the Embassy’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the delivery and accessibility of consular services for our kababayans and the rest of our clients.”
The collaboration is expected to launch a secure last-mile delivery service for consular documents, ensuring faster and more reliable service for the Filipino community. EMX, known for its logistics and delivery expertise, is seen as a strategic ally in modernizing the Embassy’s public service delivery.
The agreement is now in its final review phase, with both parties anticipating a formal signing soon—marking a step forward in the Embassy’s efforts to deliver efficient and community-oriented service.
