Actor Dominic Roque has dismissed rumors that he is romantically involved with actress Kathryn Bernardo. Speculation arose after entertainment portal Showbiz Avenue posted a query on social media asking if Roque was courting Bernardo. The actor promptly responded in the comment section, clarifying, “Kapatid ko po yan.☺️ Bros.”
The rumor gained traction following observations of frequent sightings of the two celebrities together, as mentioned by talent manager and vlogger Ogie Diaz on his program “Showbiz Update.” Diaz addressed the speculations saying, “May nagtanong sa akin dahil madalas daw ang sightings kina Dominic Roque at Kathryn Bernardo,” adding that he simply replied, “May nagtanong lang naman sa akin ha… ‘Mama Ogs, nanliligaw ba si Dominic Roque kay Kathryn Bernardo?’”
Diaz also noted that both actors are currently single; Bernardo recently ended her long-term relationship with actor Daniel Padilla, and Roque parted ways with actress Bea Alonzo. Despite the speculation, Diaz confirmed, “Ang alam ko, si Dominic at si Kathryn ay best of friends.”
