The former Chief Judge of the Municipal Court of Providence, hailed as the “Nicest Judge in the World,” is expected to share his wealth of experience and insights garnered over a prominent career that saw him pioneering a humanistic approach to the judiciary process.
Caprio’s presence adds a star touch to the prestigious event, given his reputation for rulings characterized by understanding, respect, and empathy.
Caprio rose to global fame through the television show “Caught in Providence,” which aired live recordings of his court proceedings, drawing billions of viewers since its inception in 1987.
The show not only brought the legal proceedings to living rooms around the world but also showcased Caprio’s heartwarming interactions with defendants, especially children.
The 86-year-old judge’s kind-hearted approach towards judicature has earned him a following in the billions, with many viewing him as a beacon of compassion and humanity in the often stern world of justice.
