Authorities are actively searching for the parents of a newborn baby boy found abandoned on a roadside in the Al Nahdha industrial area, near Sharjah City Centre mall. The infant was discovered by a passer-by, who promptly alerted the police.
The baby, estimated to be just one day old, was immediately transferred to Al Qasimi Hospital, Gulf News reported. According to hospital staff, the newborn is in good health despite being left outdoors in the heat.
Sharjah Police are currently investigating the incident and working to locate the child’s parents.
