New university in Dubai offers 35% tuition fee discount for Esaad cardholders and families

Symbiosis International University (SIU) Dubai has signed a strategic partnership with Dubai Police’s Esaad Card Centre, offering exclusive educational benefits to Esaad cardholders and their families. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalized at the Dubai Police General Headquarters by Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Vice Chancellor of SIU, and Mona Al Ameri, Director of the Esaad Card Centre.

Under the agreement, Esaad cardholders and their immediate families will receive a 35% discount on tuition fees for various academic programs at Symbiosis Dubai. The partnership also includes two full scholarships for Dubai Police employees and their families, further demonstrating SIU’s commitment to education accessibility and community support.

Additionally, the university has announced special scholarships for Emirati women, offering the same 35% tuition discount across all programs. Symbiosis Dubai aims to empower women through education by tailoring courses like Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Psychology, and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), alongside existing programs like BCA, BA (Media and Communication), BBA, and MBA.

Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar emphasized the university’s mission to create inclusive education pathways, while Mona Al Ameri highlighted the initiative’s potential to make world-class education more accessible to Esaad cardholders and their families.

Symbiosis International University’s Dubai campus, which opened in September 2024, is the first Indian university in Dubai to achieve full accreditation from the UAE’s academic authorities. It aligns with Dubai’s D33 agenda and aims to equip students for a globally competitive workforce.
