Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment have revealed the title of the latest addition to the Jurassic World franchise: “Jurassic World Rebirth.” The film is scheduled to premiere on July 2, 2025.
“Jurassic World Rebirth” stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali, and follows a daring mission to retrieve DNA samples from the planet’s three largest surviving dinosaurs. Set five years after “Jurassic World Dominion,” the film explores a world where dinosaurs only exist in isolated, equatorial environments. These dinosaurs hold genetic secrets that could lead to groundbreaking medical advancements for humanity.
Johansson takes on the role of Zora Bennett, a covert operations specialist leading a mission to gather genetic material from these giant creatures. The adventure intensifies when her team encounters a stranded family whose boating trip has been disrupted by aquatic dinosaurs. As they navigate the dangers of the island, they uncover a hidden and shocking secret.
Directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp, the film promises to continue the franchise’s legacy of thrilling dinosaur adventures. Produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, with Steven Spielberg as one of the executive producers, “Jurassic World Rebirth” aims to captivate audiences once again.
