Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s ultra-low-fare national airline, has announced a new route to Varna, Bulgaria, set to begin on March 31, 2025. Flights will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with fares starting at AED 279. Tickets are now available on the airline’s website and mobile app, which also supports the Arabic language.
Known as the “Pearl of the Black Sea,” Varna offers a blend of sandy beaches, Roman baths, cultural landmarks, and outdoor adventures, making it an appealing destination for UAE residents and visitors alike. The route strengthens Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s mission to provide budget-friendly travel and connect the UAE to unique destinations worldwide.
Johan Eidhagen, Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, expressed excitement about expanding the airline’s network, stating that the new route supports the Emirate’s travel and tourism sector while offering unforgettable experiences in Varna.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has also enhanced its Winter schedule, increasing capacity on popular routes by 40%, and expanded its WIZZ MultiPass subscription service, allowing frequent travelers to enjoy fixed rates and up to 40% savings on fares and baggage. Additionally, the airline’s WIZZ Flex service offers passengers the flexibility to modify bookings up to three hours before departure without fees.
