Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially opened a new 985-meter bridge that connects Jumeirah Street to Al Mina Street, heading toward Infinity Bridge. The latest addition is part of the fourth phase of the ongoing Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project.
The two-lane bridge is designed to handle up to 3,200 vehicles per hour, offering a smoother and faster route for commuters. With this new link, travel time between Jumeirah Street and Infinity Bridge is expected to drop by 67%, cutting the journey from 12 minutes down to just 4.
The Shindagha Corridor spans 4.8 kilometers and stretches from the junction of Sheikh Rashid Road and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street to the Falcon Intersection along Al Mina Street. The RTA said the new bridge will significantly ease congestion by allowing free-flowing traffic without stop signals.
