A new beauty pageant in the United Arab Emirates is set to highlight the confidence, talent, and advocacies of young single Filipinas, as Hiyas ng Gintang Silangan officially opens its search for candidates.
The competition is open to single Filipina women aged 18 to 25 who are currently living and working in the UAE, with organizers positioning the event as more than a traditional pageant focused solely on stage presence.
Instead, the pageant is designed to give participants a platform to share their personal stories, showcase their talents, and represent causes they believe in, while promoting intelligence and purpose alongside elegance.
Contestants are expected to take part in a series of activities, including talent performances, advocacy presentations, and personal development sessions as part of the pageant journey.
Organizers said winners will receive cash prizes and giveaways.
