Netflix subscribers in the UAE will see an increase in their monthly bills starting December 23, with the streaming platform adjusting its prices for certain plans.
The standard plan, which allows full-HD streaming on two devices, will now cost AED 49 per month, up from AED 39. Meanwhile, the premium plan, offering ultra-HD streaming on up to four devices, will rise from AED 62 to AED 71.
Subscribers on the basic plan, which supports HD streaming on a single device, will not be affected by the hike and will continue paying AED 35 per month.
The pricing update was announced in an advisory sent to users, with adjustments varying based on the selected plan.
