Dubai residents needing medical tests for residency visa renewals can now have the procedure done at home, thanks to a new service from VFS Global and AMH. The “Medical Examination Doorstep Service” offers a convenient option for expats with UAE residency visas who find it difficult to visit medical centers.
This premium service is available for Category A visa holders and can be booked through VFS Global. The initiative aligns with Emirates Health Services’ (EHS) vision of expanding service access.
To utilize the service, residents can book appointments online or offline from their homes or offices. Required documents include a passport copy, residence permit/visa copy, a recent passport-sized photograph, and an Emirates ID copy.
The process involves visiting the VFS Global website, completing an online form, and submitting the necessary documents. After receiving an email confirmation and completing the payment, VFS Global will handle the application and coordinate the medical examination at the customer’s chosen location.
The fees for the service are as follows:
Medical test for Category A: Dh 261.86
Form filling medical: Dh 52
VFS service fee: Dh 110
Doorstep service: Dh 426.15
Total: Dh 850.01
