The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has discovered that Bamban Mayor Alice Guo and Chinese passport holder Guo Hua Ping are indeed the same person, sharing identical fingerprints.
Senator Risa Hontiveros revealed the findings in a statement, confirming suspicions about the suspended mayor. “This confirms what I have suspected all along. Mayor Alice is a fake Filipino—she is actually Guo Hua Ping, a Chinese national masquerading as a Filipino citizen to facilitate crimes,” Hontiveros stated.
NBI Director Jaime Santiago verified the findings, affirming to GMA News Online, “Indeed, the NBI has confirmed that the fingerprints of Mayor Alice Guo and Guo Hua Ping match. They are the fingerprints of one and the same person.”
Hontiveros called for immediate action from the Office of the Solicitor General to file a quo warranto case against the mayor. “This is a huge insult to the voters of Bamban, our government institutions, and every Filipino citizen. This is the strongest evidence to remove Mayor Alice from her position,” she emphasized.
She expressed gratitude to Santiago for the swift investigation and urged for accountability. “I call on the Office of the Solicitor General to expedite its filing of a quo warranto case against her. She must be held accountable for all the crimes committed by her and her POGO hub,” Hontiveros added.
“This revelation is not the end. Guo Hua Ping, soon, we will know the full extent of your deception. We will dig deeper and locate the systemic roots of our POGO problem,” she concluded.
