The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has introduced a new logo, website, and social media platforms as part of its modernization efforts following its privatization. On September 18, 2024, the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) revealed the airport’s minimalist blue logo along with the launch of its revamped online presence.
The new website offers real-time flight updates and details on airport services and amenities. It also features a “Bagong Bayani” section, highlighting inspiring stories of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). The airport’s social media accounts are now under the handle @newnaiaph on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), designed to engage the public and provide updates on the airport’s transformation.
Ramon Ang, president and CEO of NNIC, emphasized that these changes are part of their commitment to transparency and open communication.
This revamp follows the recent turnover of management to the San Miguel-led consortium, which won the P170 billion project to rehabilitate NAIA. Future plans include upgrading terminals, enhancing passenger systems, and boosting the airport’s capacity to handle up to 62 million passengers annually.
