Nadia Montenegro confirms Baron Geisler is father of her 17-year-old daughter

Nadia Montenegro has publicly confirmed that actor Baron Geisler is the biological father of her 17-year-old daughter, Sophia. In an emotional interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Nadia revealed this information to bring closure to longstanding rumors and speculations.

“Sophia is turning 18 in August, and I’m sharing this to put an exclamation to everything,” Nadia stated.

Reflecting on past events, Nadia mentioned, “Tito Boy, 17 years ago, may isiniwalat ang isang tao tungkol sa buhay ko na I don’t think naman anybody has the right kasi nung time na ‘yon, Tito Boy, inaayos ko lahat.” She expressed her frustration over how her personal life was exposed without consideration for her family’s struggles.

Nadia revealed that Sophia has always known Baron is her father and that they have maintained contact. Baron had promised Sophia they could meet, but it had to be kept secret. However, Nadia pointed out that these meetings did not materialize due to Baron’s behavior, particularly his drunken messages to Sophia.

“Unlimited chances for someone to change. Give me a reason na ipaharap kita sa kaniya nang sober ka,” Nadia said, questioning Baron’s reliability.

The situation resurfaced when Baron gave an interview with Ogie Diaz, hinting at having another child. Although he did not name anyone, Nadia felt it was directed at her and Sophia. This revelation led to Sophia being bullied at school, causing further distress.

Nadia expressed her desire to protect her daughter as she approaches adulthood, saying, “I want this to end because my daughter’s turning 18 soon, and she does not need to come out of this world and answer questions for her mother.”

She also disclosed that her late partner, Boy Asistio, knew about Sophia’s parentage but asked Nadia to keep it secret until after his death to preserve Sophia’s perception of him.

“All these years, I never lied. If someone approached me and asked me, I would’ve answered. But nobody did,” Nadia concluded, asserting her right to share her own story on her own terms.
