The Migrant Workers Office–Dubai and Northern Emirates (MWO-Dubai) has confirmed that the Online Employment Contract Verification System (OECVS) is fully operational again after the completion of a scheduled system maintenance and upgrade carried out in coordination with service provider DataFlow Group.
In an announcement released on 02 December 2025, MWO-Dubai said the upgrade significantly strengthened the platform’s stability and data integrity—two key priorities highlighted in the earlier advisory issued before the temporary pause last week. The enhanced system now features improved processing efficiency, more stable file uploads, streamlined user guidance, optimized mobile accessibility, and upgraded data security measures, according to the agency.
The resumption of services comes after a brief downtime from 27 November to 01 December, during which new applications were paused and OFWs with “Pending Compliances” were asked to upload lacking documents ahead of the cutoff. With the upgrades now completed, the office confirmed that new contract verification applications are once again being accepted, and users may log in and submit anytime through the official portal at dmw.dataflowgroup.com.
The successful upgrade follows months of heavy utilization of the OECVS, which has recorded more than 22,000 applications since its launch on 7 July 2025. The system, available 24/7 and now accepting weekend submissions, has reduced walk-in foot traffic at MWO-Dubai by about 50 percent. Data also shows that OFWs have collectively saved an estimated AED 1.3 million and around 90,000 hours in processing time, thanks to simplified workflows and 45 percent automation within the platform.
MWO-Dubai encouraged OFWs to take advantage of the improved system, especially ahead of the holiday season and in preparation for early-year travel and employment requirements. The enhanced online processing aims to further reduce onsite queues and provide a more convenient verification experience for Filipinos across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
As the UAE marks its National Day, the office also extended its greetings to the Filipino community and residents in the country. For concerns and assistance, the public may reach MWO-Dubai through onlineverification.mwodubai@dmw.gov.ph.
