The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Dubai and Northern Emirates has announced a dedicated special service for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) employed in educational institutions and school-related roles. The service will be available on May 31, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Targeting OFWs working as teachers, teaching assistants, bus supervisors, cleaners, messengers, babysitters, nannies, and other related positions in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah, the initiative aims to assist up to 300 clients.
Available services include contract verification, OWWA membership and renewal, SSS membership, Pag-IBIG membership, and general assistance to nationals. Workers whose visas or Emirates IDs are not directly sponsored by their educational institutions or are issued outside Dubai or the Northern Emirates are required to provide additional proof of employment, such as a company ID or an employment certificate.
Interested OFWs must complete an online registration form through this link. Only those with confirmed appointments will be accommodated on the scheduled day.
The MWO-Dubai urged workers to review the checklist of requirements for contract verification through their official website.
