The newly formed ECS Singers made a remarkable debut as they claimed the Grand Prix Award in the Choir Category at the Young Talent Music Competition, held at the Knowledge Park Auditorium in Dubai Internet City.
Under the direction of conductor Mr. Elipas Sibua, a veteran music educator and mentor, the ECS Singers impressed the judges with their unified tone, musical discipline, and expressive delivery. Mr. Sibua, widely known for his dedication to nurturing young artists, strongly believes that every child has the power and ability to excel when guided with passion, purpose, and proper training.
Adding to the significance of their win is the choir’s unique diversity. The group is composed of young vocalists representing the Philippines, India, Indonesia, the United States, South Africa, and the United Kingdom, mirroring the multicultural harmony of the UAE. Many of the members are already decorated performers, having earned accolades from various local and international competitions.

For their winning performance, the ECS Singers presented “A Million Dreams,” arranged specially in four vocal parts by Mr. Sibua to highlight the range, blend, and individual strengths of the choir members.
