More than 543,000 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) have availed of the free 24/7 lounge at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), according to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
The exclusive OFW lounges, located at NAIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, provide travelers with free food, beverages, Wi-Fi, charging stations, and comfortable seating. OWWA aims to serve 600,000 OFWs by February.
Data shows that around 1,300 OFWs arrive daily at Terminal 1, while 1,200 pass through Terminal 3.
The initiative is a collaboration between OWWA, the House of Representatives, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), and the Manila International Airport Authority.
