Dubai’s most anticipated retail art fair, World Art Dubai, is back this April with a record-breaking lineup of over 400 artists and galleries representing more than 65 countries. Running from April 17 to 20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the 11th edition of the fair cements Dubai’s growing role as a global cultural hub and promises a four-day celebration of creativity, connection, and artistic discovery.
Set against the backdrop of Dubai’s vibrant art season, this year’s edition introduces new international pavilions, including Zimbabwe, Mongolia, Australia, and Estonia, as well as debuts from the Philippines and Emirati Pavilion. These new additions bring a dynamic mix of cultural perspectives to the fair’s expanding global reach.
Beyond the exhibitions, World Art Dubai 2025 will roll out enhanced programs designed to boost engagement and support both artists and collectors. Among them are the VIP Preview—an exclusive invite-only event connecting top buyers with artists—and the Hosted Buyer Programme, which offers tailored matchmaking to ensure meaningful exchanges for art acquisitions.
Dubai Culture, a strategic partner, will bring an immersive lineup of workshops, live art demonstrations, and youth-focused initiatives, adding an interactive layer to the fair’s programming. Visitors can look forward to calligraphy sessions, printmaking activities, and a showcase of traditional-meets-modern crafts.
China takes the spotlight this year as the Country of Honour, with a special pavilion featuring traditional and contemporary Chinese art, along with live performances. Meanwhile, the Artist in Residence programme returns to give international talents space and exposure, reinforcing Dubai’s image as a creative powerhouse.
Also new for 2025 is The Textile Hub, a space dedicated to the art of textile-making, and a Public Art Initiative that will bring large-scale installations to Dubai’s One Central district, extending the fair’s creative footprint into the cityscape.
With a mix of returning favorites and fresh experiences, World Art Dubai 2025 is set to be its most dynamic edition yet. Organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and supported by Knightsbridge Group and ANAX Developments, the fair invites both seasoned collectors and curious newcomers to explore the world of art in an accessible and inspiring setting.
