Dubai’s main parking operator Parkin PJSC has activated new paid parking zones across Dubai Sports City and Dubai International Academic City, continuing its growing network of regulated public parking areas in fast-developing districts.
Parking fees in Dubai Sports City now apply under Zone Code S from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Rates start at Dh2 for one hour and rise to Dh14 for seven hours, with a full-day fee of Dh20. Monthly subscriptions begin at Dh300, while an annual pass costs Dh2,800. Parkin said new signs have been installed to guide motorists in the area.
Dubai International Academic City has also shifted to paid parking under Zone Code F. Tariffs begin at Dh2 for 30 minutes and Dh4 for one hour, increasing to Dh28 for seven hours and Dh32 for a 24-hour ticket. Subscription options start at Dh315 monthly and Dh2,940 for a yearly pass. Operating hours mirror those in Sports City, running from morning until late evening.
The expansion follows Parkin’s recent rollout of paid parking in Dubai Studio City and Dubai Outsource City, classified as Zone Code T, which launched on October 31. Those zones follow the same time schedule and start at Dh2 for 30 minutes, up to Dh36 for a full day, with annual passes also priced at Dh2,940.
These moves form part of a broader plan to manage public parking demand across the emirate. Earlier in August, Parkin brought new areas in Al Jaddaf under its system and began overseeing more than two thousand parking spaces near 59 mosques, where one-hour free parking is available during prayer times before standard charges resume.
