Moonstar88 and 6cyclemind auction memorabilia to raise funds for Allan Silonga’s treatment

Content creator Jayson Luzadas, popularly known as Boss Toyo, has purchased a white electric guitar from Moonstar88 and a trophy from 6cyclemind to raise funds for musician Allan Mitchell Silonga, who is battling kidney failure and a heart condition.

Members of Moonstar88—Maysh Baay, Bon Sundiang, and Herbert Hernandez—along with 6cyclemind’s Vic Aquino, Rye Sarmiento, and Bob Cañamo, visited Luzadas’ shop to sell the memorabilia. The transaction was featured on his YouTube channel on February 21.

“Meron kaming kaibigan, si Daddy A ng Daddy’s Home and K24/7, meron siyang kidney failure and heart problem. Nagre-raise [kami ng pera para tulungan siya]… bumunot kami ng mga memorabilia para [ibenta],” the bands shared. Silonga, also known as Daddy A, was a finalist in The X Factor Philippines in 2012 and is the father of IV of Spades’ Blaster Silonga.

The guitar, which appeared in the music videos of Torete and Migraine, and the 6cyclemind trophy from ASAP were initially offered at P888,888 and P350,000, respectively. However, after negotiations, they settled on a final price of P400,688.

Silonga later expressed his gratitude on Facebook: “Sobrang shock ako sa pinakita nyong pagmamahal sa akin… sobrang salamat. Malaking tulong kayo sa akin. God bless you more. Salamat Boss Toyo at naging instrumento ang programa mo para makatulong. God is great!”

Luzadas, known for his show Pinoy Pawnstars, has previously helped artists in need, including FlipTop emcee Romano Trinidad, who is battling liver cancer.
