Former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has unveiled his ticket under Aksyon Demokratiko, which includes notable figures such as pro-Duterte blogger Mocha Uson and former PBA player Bong “Mr. Excitement” Alvarez, as they prepare for the upcoming 2025 local elections in Manila.
The team, dubbed “Yorme’s Choice,” took their oath on Sunday, with Moreno signaling his intent to make a political comeback as he eyes a potential rematch with current Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna. Chi Atienza, daughter of former Manila Mayor Lito Atienza, is expected to run for vice mayor alongside Moreno.
Other prominent names on the ticket include Moreno’s son, actor Joaquin Domagoso, and former Congressman Carlo Lopez. The slate is divided across six districts, with each fielding candidates for congressional and council seats.
Moreno’s decision to run comes after leaving his post in 2022 to run for president.
