A group of Filipino performers and film actors are set to connect with fans in Dubai on Friday, January 9, as part of activities linked to the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival. The appearance is scheduled at the DSF Al Rigga Night Market, marking the first public engagement of MMFF artists in the city ahead of the main concert event.
Confirmed to attend the Dubai meet-and-greet are Enchong Dee, Morissette, and actress Donna Cariaga, alongside younger cast members Will Ashley, Bianca de Vera, and Dustin Yu. The gathering forms part of the festival’s outreach activities for overseas Filipinos in the Middle East.
The artists are appearing in connection with MMFF 2025 film entries that remain in circulation following the festival’s conclusion, allowing Dubai-based audiences to engage directly with performers and cast members through on-site interactions. Organizers have indicated that the night market event will focus on fan engagement rather than stage performances, positioning it as a prelude to the larger program.
The Dubai activities are tied to Konsyerto Para sa Filipino, the free concert mounted by MMFF as a post-festival event for the Filipino community abroad. The main concert is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, at the Dubai Exhibition Center, with South Halls 15 and 17 designated as the venue.
