A tragic discovery was made in Tabogon, Cebu as authorities located the remains of a six-year-old boy who had been missing since January 9. The victim’s body was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition and had been decapitated.
According to a 24 Oras Weekend report, the father was able to positively identify his son through the clothing found on the remains. Investigators also recovered a skull in the vicinity of the body. Both the remains and the skull have been transferred to a funeral home where an autopsy will be conducted.
Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
