Residents who were unable to reach the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai because of severe weather conditions will still be served without rebooking, as the mission confirmed flexible arrangements following widespread travel disruptions across the UAE.
The advisory comes as heavy rains across Dubai and nearby emirates caused flooding in several areas, slowed traffic, and led to transport delays and temporary service suspensions during the latter part of the week. Authorities had urged residents to limit movement as roads became waterlogged and weather alerts remained in effect.
Against this backdrop, the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai said it will keep its office open to the public on Friday, December 19, despite forecasts of continued inclement weather. The consulate acknowledged that some clients may have been unable to attend scheduled appointments due to heavy rain and accessibility issues in certain locations.
To address these disruptions, the consulate announced that all clients whose appointments were affected by the weather will be accommodated on any other working day throughout December 2025 and January 2026. A new appointment booking will not be required for those affected.
Clients seeking accommodation under this arrangement will be asked to present their original appointment confirmation email upon entry for verification.
