Miss Glenda puts up P1M cash reward for proof of those behind alleged trolling campaign

Brilliant Skin Essentials CEO Glenda Dela Cruz has dared the public to come forward with evidence identifying who she believes is orchestrating a coordinated online campaign against her, announcing a ₱1,000,000 cash reward for anyone who can provide proof.

In a Facebook post, the skincare mogul wrote: “Hi. I am trying to FOCUS on my CORE but clearly, may nagpapa TROLL sakin. ₱1,000,000.00 in CASH sa makakapagbigay ng kahit anong PROOF kung sino ang nasa likod nito.”

The announcement comes amid a wave of online controversies targeting Dela Cruz in recent weeks. Blind items circulating on social media alleged a connection between her and fugitive businessman and former Ako-Bicol party-list representative Zaldy Co, with speculation stemming from a birthday trip she took to Europe, which included a stop in Lisbon, Portugal — the same country where Co is reportedly hiding.

Brilliant Skin Essentials responded with an official statement calling the posts by Facebook page Philippine Morning News “highly malicious and defamatory,” and categorically denying that Dela Cruz has any connection to Co, to any flood control scandal, or to any illegal financial activity.

Dela Cruz herself has pushed back against what she described as years-long attempts to discredit her success. “Ilang taon na po yung paratang sa akin. Kasi ayaw po nilang maniwala na possible na sa isang skincare pwede ka talagang kumita nang malaki,” she said in a recent interview, adding that critics label her a money launderer simply because they refuse to believe her wealth came from hard work.

She has been vocal about the stakes involved, noting she employs over 1,000 workers — including persons with disabilities — and that an attack on her reputation is an attack on the livelihoods of the families who depend on her company.
