Ming Dynasty Restaurant & Lounge has officially opened its doors at the Dubai Mall’s Fountain Views Complex, offering a first-of-its-kind dining experience that combines international buffet selections, elegant interiors, and private karaoke entertainment—all under one roof.
Located on the mezzanine level, Ming Dynasty first welcomed guests during its soft opening last week, but now the restaurant is fully open to the public, setting itself apart as the only buffet-style restaurant in Dubai Mall serving both lunch and dinner. It brings an upscale hotel restaurant ambiance into the heart of one of the world’s busiest malls.
While its name may suggest a traditional Chinese restaurant, Ming Dynasty goes far beyond that. The buffet features a mix of Asian and global cuisines—ranging from sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki, and hot pot, to international favorites, carving stations, and a wide dessert selection including mochi, egg tarts, and cakes.
A highlight of the venue is its karaoke room, designed for up to 20 guests. Complete with soundproof walls, LED visuals, and a dedicated bartender, it’s perfect for diners looking to unwind and sing along with friends or colleagues. A full beverage service is also expected to roll out soon, with alcohol licensing in its final stages.
Dining prices are set at AED 299 for adults, while children aged 5–11 can enjoy the buffet for AED 129–158, and children under four dine for free.
The concept is led by industry veteran Leon, whose decades of experience in hospitality are reflected in the restaurant’s seamless service, food quality, and guest experience. During the soft launch, he personally welcomed guests—including invitees from Dubai’s business and creative communities—offering a glimpse into the level of attention and care behind the new venue.
