Fresh from her victory in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Mika Salamanca made headlines again — not just for winning, but for what she chose to do next.
Instead of keeping her P1 million cash prize, the Sparkle GMA artist gave the entire amount to Duyan ni Maria, an orphanage dedicated to supporting abandoned and neglected children. Her act of generosity was announced by Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Instagram, where many praised her for using her platform to uplift others.
But her compassion didn’t stop there. Mika personally visited a local community of senior citizens to spend time with them and express her gratitude, continuing her wave of kindness after the reality show.
Mika shared the spotlight with her partner Brent Manalo, with whom she won the PBB celebrity edition. Now back outside the Big Brother house, she has her sights set on launching a music career.
Currently, she stars as Anaca in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, showing that her talents — and her heart — are making an impact far beyond television.
