Domestic workers in Metro Manila are set to receive a P500 increase in their monthly wages starting January 4, 2025.
The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) of the National Capital Region (NCR) approved Wage Order No. NCR-DW-05, raising the minimum monthly salary for kasambahays from P6,500 to P7,000.
The National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) confirmed that the adjustment applies to all domestic workers in the NCR, whether live-in or live-out, with no exemptions permitted.
