Ji was a beacon of hope and inspiration within the Filipino community. Known for her vibrant artworks, including her celebrated Whimsy Wonders of Mind exhibition in 2018 at the Philippine Consulate, Ji was also a staunch advocate for women’s empowerment and cultural preservation through her leadership role in Las Damas de Rizal.
Even while battling breast cancer, Ji continued to lead transformative initiatives such as the Walk of Hope, an event held in collaboration with the Friends of Cancer Patients in Sharjah to provide support to cancer patients and their families. Her resilience and unwavering dedication left a lasting impact on the Filipino community in Dubai.
The memorial service, organized by Las Damas de Rizal, is an opportunity to celebrate Ji’s life and honor the profound legacy she left behind. The event will include prayers, tributes, and moments to share cherished memories of Ji’s remarkable journey as an artist and community leader.
